Criminelen in Groningen hebben ontdekt dat ze helemaal geen armlastige Bulgaren hoeven te ronselen voor subsidiefraude, de studenten om de hoek volstaan ook. In een van de Selwerdflats in Groningen zijn nieuwe DigiD-inloggegevens aangevraagd voor tientallen bewoners en bij een groot aantal uit de brievenbus gejat. Het enige wat de dieven nodig hadden waren burgerservicenummers en geboortedata die op vele poststukken worden vermeld. Met de nieuwe DigiD’s werden rekeningnummers veranderd en toeslagen aangevraagd zoals huur- en zorgtoeslag. Subsidiefraude, toch wel een van de laagste vormen van diefstal die er is, nog maar net overtroffen door studentes met slagwapens aanvallen. Misschien moeten ze in Groningen voortaan ook keukenapparatuur naar beneden gooien om het gespuis te verjagen.
